Mom by day, cellist-by-night
Oh Laurie. I don't know what that feels like, but I feel your pain. It's a tough go - being a mom. And I know that you're one of the best. Really.
I think sleep & a clean kitchen is the bee's knees. I was awakened at 6:30 by kids who were so terribly excited it was mother's day - and then of course they were cranky the rest of the day. Sleep = gift.
I think men should take a class. we had the "you're not my mother" conversation more than once....but somehow the "yeah, but I'm Dahlia's mother" sentiment kicked in enough. I'm sorry you felt shafted! But I'm jealous of your sleep & clean kitchen!!
